Program Equilibrium
Inspired by traditional Tibetan medicine
The program “Equilibrium” is inspired by the theory and practice of traditional Tibetan medicine (Sowa Rigpa), which is one of the oldest systems for prevention and treatment, still practiced today.
From Eastern wisdom and millennia of experience, we understand that everything in nature consists of five basic elements: space, wind, fire, water, and earth. They determine the characteristics of everything living and non-living in nature and the environment, including our own body.
In our mind and body, the elements manifest as energies: the element of wind creates the energy of wind; the element of fire – the energy of bile; the elements of water and earth – the energy of phlegm. The diversity in the manifestation of these three types of energy forms the so-called constitution of a person and determines their unique traits.
Every kind of energy is governed by one of the so-called ‘three poisons’ or basic states: attachment, anger, and misunderstanding (distorted/deluded perception). These three basic disturbing emotions, often in combinations with each other, are accepted as the primary cause of any energy imbalance and corresponding discomfort, illness. The secondary factors that enhance or soothe the predispositions we have are our diet, lifestyle, seasonal conditions, and the influence of microorganisms (bacteria, viruses, etc.)
If we succeed in understanding which of the “poisons” is dominant in our constitution, we have a starting point from which to build a reasonable, healthy way of life that will support our efforts to effectively direct our vitality. As additional means for this purpose, we can use so-called internal (herbal intake and herbal formulas) and external therapies (sauna, massages, baths, moxibustion, etc.)
Grand Hotel Therme
The program includes:
Seasonal Menu
In the “Equilibrium” program, we have prepared a menu consisting of seasonal foods, beverages, and spices suitable for the season, combined in a way to support digestion. The offered dishes will be tailored to individual preferences regarding diet type: meat/vegetarian/vegan, as well as any allergies and food intolerances.
Herbal Formulas
In traditional Tibetan medicine, herbs and herbal formulas are applied as an additional means of influencing the condition after changes in diet and lifestyle. For the program we have selected herbal formulas according to individual constitution and season, prepared according to traditional recipes from Tibetan medicine.
Individual recommendations tailored to you personally.
If we can understand which of the “poisons” is dominant in our constitution, we have a starting point from which to build a rational, healthy lifestyle that will support our efforts to effectively channel our life force. As additional means for this purpose, we can use the so-called internal (herbal intake and herbal formulas) and external therapies (sauna, massages, baths, moxibustion, etc.).
